Ears for peers
Ears for Peers is the confidential peer support hotline of Tufts University. We are staffed by Tufts students and trained by Tufts Counseling and Mental Health Services. Whatever the subject of the call is, our goal, along with simply lending an ear, is to make you aware of resources on and off campus that can provide you with more stable support to help you overcome the concern at hand. We will not share our opinions or tell you what we think you should do. Our volunteers merely lend an "ear" to their peers, because they know what it's like to feel lonely, unsure, angry, depressed or confused. They know what it's like to be human.
Mission: We are here to provide an ear for Tufts students about any problem s/he may be having and to provide moral support or outside resources. The Ears for Peers hotline is available from 7 PM - 7 AM every night of the academic year. To access this hotline, please call (617) 627-3888 or AOL Instant Message us at tuftsE4P. An anonymous AIM log-in is also available:
