What is the tufts peer health collaborative?
The
Peer Health Collaborative is comprised of 18 different health organizations on
campus.
Liaisons from each health organization work together to help the Collaborative reach its goals.
We are affiliated with the Department of Health Education and Undergraduate Education, Student Affairs, & Student Services Health Professions Advising.
Mission:
The mission of Tufts Peer Health Collaborative is to foster strong, lasting relationships between all health organizations on campus. We will do this by raising awareness about each health organization, providing funding for co-sponsored events, raising attendance at health related events, providing insight into other health organizations' programs, and where overlap occurs to reduce wasting of resources. We do this to create a healthier, more knowledgeable campus community by providing information on an array of health topics.
Vision:
The Tufts Peer Health Collaborative will be successful by increasing the number of co-sponsored health events on campus, doubling attendance at most events, and sharing resources in order to prevent duplication of programs.
